Here's an English fizz that goes with everything! All Angels, a vineyard and winery just over the border in Berkshire, launches No. 36, a refreshing new style of English sparkling wine that’s designed for celebration, food pairings and everyday drinking.

Made by family-owned producer All Angels, No. 36 is an elegant twist on their award-

winning English Classic Cuvée. With fewer bubbles and softer acidity, it’s designed to complement the whole dining experience from aperitif to dessert, not just for celebrations. Although with Christmas just around the corner maybe now is the time to treat yourself?

All Angels’ ethos is uncompromising quality, balanced with sustainable production methods, thus creating a wine that reflects both their standards and values. Sparkling wine should be fun, approachable and easy to enjoy.

Why No. 36?

The Team felt that it was time to change the view of some consumers, new to English Sparkling Wine, that the bubbles were just too vigorous for drinking throughout an entire meal. They decided to show this wasn't always true by creating a more approachable wine that would appeal to a new sparkling wine audience using the exceptional fruit grown in 2018 - a banner harvest for English Wine.

The team feel that this Classic Cuvée is refined, specifically food-friendly and irresistibly drinkable. Made with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, No. 36 delivers a slightly less sparkling wine than All Angels’ traditional Classic Cuvée, making it ideal to consume during a meal and with a wide spectrum of foods.

All Angels is a family-run English wine producer based outside Newbury in Berkshire, founded in 2011. They specialise in producing traditional-method sparkling wine made from classic grape

varieties including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Gris.

I'm planning a trip there in the Spring, so be sure to come back to the blog to see what I discover.
